Shannon started out as an Auskicker in 2000 when the club was first formed. He and fellow 150 gamer Jayden Stevens were only 3 turning 4 when they first started. Their shorts resembled full length skins and their jumpers had to be tucked in as they went to their knees.
Shannon now in his 13th season will finish his junior football with over 150 games. He has had a few grandfinal appearances and broke through for his first premiership in 2010 in the U14s.
He has represented the club in Regional teams and was this week selected in the Western Sydney U16 team to compete at the GSJ carnival in July.
Shannon looks like continuing his football at senior level with Sydney Hills Eagles where he has played a game with their U18 Div 2 team and hopes to play one or two more before the end of the season. Completing his HSC next year will be a factor in how many games he plays.
Congratulations Shannon on being one of the longest playing Crows. Your loyalty is appreciated and it is great you will play out your time with mates you have been with for 9-13yrs.
